Great app, works well. Just what I was looking for. It's a super fast hand held nautical almanac for the sun & moon. Data includes, daily pages, rising, setting, several twilights, altitude, azmuth, equation of time, right ascension, age/phase, eclipse dates, and more. A good looking and easy to use interface. Highly recommended for anyone interested in solar energy, home construction, gardening, astronomy, and hobby time keeping.

I've used this app for years and highly recommend it to anyone I meet that's interested in photographing the moon or Sun sets. Very accurate. if you see a horizon you want to include in a photo, mark the spot on the app and it will line up to a place you can utilize to take the photo. This is the first app I go to when photographing the moon rise.

Quite detailed, once found where it is hidden (see answer below) most detailed numeric and graphic information about actual-time ALTITUDE and AZIMUTH (in degrees) above the (theoretical) horizon and in degrees true north ! Thank you !

You can find the current time altitude on the page that shows the sun‘s path.
Go to the Sun tab and swipe left to get to that page.
